~Turkey Soup~

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds grounded turkey
4 ribs celery, sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cups of water
4 carrots sliced
1/4 cup of uncooked rice
1 small bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon sweet basil
4 teaspoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
4 drops red pepper sauce
2 medium potatoes (diced)
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 1/2 cups of tomatoes or tomato juice
1 can of green beans
1 can of black-eyed peas (or others if you prefer)
Brown turkey and celery in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Start adding the water, carrots, rice, bay leaf, thyme, basil, chili powder, onion powder, dillweed, red pepper sauce, potatoes, salt, and the pepper. Then, boil and simmer until the vegetables are tender. After that start adding the remaining ingredients and have it cooking through. Remove the bay leaf and serve it nice and hot.
*Tips: Chicken can be substitute for turkey if you like.
