Since, I got my prescription late to renew my epipen which can pretty bad in most cases. Even though, it was not on purpose of course, because I had a lot going on with the tragedy in Feburary which leads my epipen expiration on that month. Rest assured I gotten my epipen a couple of week ago, and thankfully I have not gotten a reaction in order to use my epipen. Now what I have learned this time is something new not just their look from last years designed. They have a new protocol that they change which frankly gives me a wonder of thoughts in my mind. Now they can sell twin packs only, no more single packs. Since, it seems quietly cheaper instead of buying two just in case which is quite smart and cheaper for people and me of course.
Yet one thing is for sure what I can find scary, that one Epi Pen cannot work. In this case with the twin pack you have two epipens. This can lead to an interesting scenario by what I was told from the pharmacy. One epipen can work though sometimes it can fail and not work which you need to use your other epipen. This was rather not to all shocking at first but made me think of the situations I can go through. What if two epipens did not work hopefully that does not happen but that can rather be death defying and fatal situation which no one wants to go through especially. These epipens are lifesavers for many of us who need it in these situations. As well information of whether or not it is true but since the epipen is now in twin pack it does not have the correct dosage for the single packs that is required but rather less. So it is a rather the same dosage but split into two which is I am guessing they call it the twin pack.
Through these findings by what I was told from the pharmacy may be quite alarming but I will need to gather more evidence if this is really true. This will be in my next post this coming weekend.
Also included in the epipen twin pack is a fake epipen injector to practice on which I will explain in the next blog posts. This was surprisingly new included in the twin pack.
I am a lil late on the blog post but it is better then never, I gotten held up and had a lot going on last week as well these coming weeks but I am putting in the required blog posts hopefully every week of this month! Thank you for supporting!
