Anaphylaxis Reactions? & How to Treat it
Coming across the web, I find this video which I m not sure if you have seen it. This guy has filmed himself going to the hospital which is pretty dramatic. Especially with his wife at the side driving him to the hospital as quickly as she can. He even tells his symptoms of what he is feeling. Eventually he gets to the hospital safely and he is OK. Though, I want to show you guys this video because some say that its fake or he is just getting attention. He is just giving people out there a message to always be prepared what might happen. It is not fun seeing your own friend, partner, or family member go through this.
Always be prepared because you never know what is going to happen. Yet, what can you do when this happens always call 911, for these emergency situations. Even though you are prescribed an epi-pen, take it with you at all times you don't know you might get a reaction later throughout the day. Always use it, when you come in contact with a substance that you have been allergic to in the past. It can occur again if you don't administrate the epi-pen.
It may seen that carrying an epi-pen may seem scary or just plain dumb but, its not because your epi-pen is your life saver. I hear a lot of stories where people don't carry it and one day it happens which can lead to bad situations, which could of been prevented.
Below I have two videos to share with you. One that I have explained earlier and the other is how to use an epi-pen which is informational and visual.
